Per your request, Miss VACN, we took another picture of a camel for you. This is the first time we have actually seen camels out in the open in Oman. The last camel picture was taken on the way home from Dubai, so we were beginning to think they only lived where there are sand dunes. And for those that are saying right now, "But you live in a desert, where it is just a big sand dune, so what are you talking about," all I have to say is, despite what you may envision about the middle east, it really isn't one big sand dune. Oman seems to be mostly rock (or at least the minimal amount of Oman we have seen). The only sand dunes we have been around were closer to Dubai.
There terrain in Oman seems to make it more of a haven for donkeys and mountain goats, instead of camels. Like this poor guy. A

lonely goat on a mountain. Oops! We aren't quite sure if he meant to be there or if he managed to get stranded there. If he isn't stuck, then I am impressed he made it out there. With that said, we never saw him move from that spot, so I am little concerned. Poor little goat!
